Logan Brandt is the “Van Gogh of VR,” a genius developer whose groundbreaking work is fueled by a singular, devastating obsession: guilt over the childhood accident that cost his sister her leg. Plagued by waking nightmares and hallucinations during his own press conferences, he becomes convinced that physical repair isn’t enough—he needs to cure the mind . When the company refuses to fund his pivot into experimental “Dream Control” technology, Logan goes rogue. He steals millions of dollars in classified equipment and retreats to his high-tech fortress of a condo to work in isolation.

There, assisted by “Athena,” an advanced Quantum AI, he initiates an unauthorized human trial on himself to prove he can reprogram the subconscious .
